The History of the Black Chamber

Founded in 2011 by local businessmen and entrepreneurs, Black Chamber Fort Wayne serves as an advocate for the creation, growth, and general welfare of African American businesses in the Greater Fort Wayne Area.

BCFW is a collective group of progressive-minded businesses, organizations, and citizens who invest their time, energy, and financial resources for a unified vision and community development. Our focus is to actively promote the expansion of business opportunities through referrals, partnerships, & marketing.

The founding charter members are: Cozey Baker Jr., Clarence Benton, Greg Copeland, John Dortch, George Eldridge Sr., Leroy Jackson Jr., Maurice Smith, Brad Stiles.
